Information on the established requirements for the accessibility of services provided for persons with disabilities and on the compliance of the services provided with these requirements

The company IAD Investments, správ. spol., a.s., with its registered office at Malý trh 2/A, 811 08 Bratislava, Company ID: 17 330 254, registered in the Commercial Register of the Municipal Court Bratislava III, Section: Sa, File No.: 182/B (hereinafter referred to as ” IAD “), hereby, in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 of Act No. 351/2022 Coll. on the accessibility of products and services to persons with disabilities, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the ” Accessibility Act “), informs the public about the established requirements for the accessibility of the services provided by it and their compliance with these requirements.

1. Services

IAD is a management company, which has been granted a permit pursuant to Act No. 203/2011 Coll. on collective investment, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the “ Collective Investment Act ”), creates and manages mutual funds. IAD also provides consumers with the following services, which are financial services pursuant to the provisions of Section 3, letter l), point 2. of the Accessibility Act:

  1. portfolio management in relation to the following financial instruments:
    1. transferable bonds,
    2. money market instruments,
    3. bonds and equity interests in collective investment funds,
    4. options, futures , swaps, forwards and other derivative contracts relating to securities, currencies, interest rates or yields, emission allowances or other derivative instruments, financial indices or financial rates that may be settled by delivery or in cash, and
  2. custody and management of unit certificates issued by management companies and securities issued by foreign collective investment undertakings, including custody administration and related services, in particular the management of funds and financial collateral

(hereinafter collectively referred to as the “ Services ” and each individually as a “ Service ”).

2. Information about general accessibility requirements for Services for people with disabilities

IAD is obliged under the Accessibility Act to ensure that the Services are provided in such a way that:

  1. the accessibility of products used in the provision of Services has been ensured in accordance with the established requirements for the accessibility of products for persons with disabilities,
  2. information about the functioning of the Services, and if products are used in the provision of the Service, information about the connection of the Service to these products, information about their features related to accessibility for persons with disabilities, and their interoperability with assistive devices and appliances:
      1. made accessible through more than one sensory channel,
      2. provided in an understandable manner,
      3. provided in ways that the user can perceive,
      4. made available, in the case of content, in text formats that can be used to create alternative assistive formats presentable to users in different ways and through more than one sensory channel,
      5. provided in a font of appropriate size and type, taking into account the foreseeable conditions of use and using sufficient contrast and adjustable spacing between letters, lines and paragraphs,
      6. accompanied by an alternative presentation of any non-text content,
      7. provided in electronic form, if necessary for the provision of the Service in a uniform and appropriate manner so that the Service is perceptible, controllable, understandable and reliable,
  3. the websites and mobile applications through which the Service is provided, including related online applications and services provided via mobile devices, were in accordance with the standards for accessibility and functionality of websites and applications, in such a way that they were perceptible, controllable, understandable and reliable,
  4. support services (helpdesk, telephone information centers, technical support, conversion services and training services), if available, provide information about the accessibility of the Service for persons with disabilities and its compatibility with assistive technologies, using accessible means of communication.

3. Information about additional accessibility requirements Services for people with disabilities:

When providing the Services, there must be:

  1. secure provision of identification methods, electronic signatures, security and payment services that are perceptible, controllable, understandable and reliable,
  2. ensure that the information provided is understandable, without exceeding the level of complexity B2 (intermediate) of the Council of Europe’s Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

4. Information about the Services' compliance with accessibility requirements

4.1 General description of the Services

Our Services consist mainly of providing investment services to clients, within which IAD manages clients’ investments, mainly through the service of portfolio management of financial instruments pursuant to Section 5, paragraph 1, letters a) to d) of the Act on Securities and Investment Services and on Amendments and Supplements to Certain Acts (Securities Act), as amended, or the service of holder management of unit certificates issued by management companies and securities issued by foreign collective investment undertakings.

The services are designed to be accessible to all users, including people with disabilities.

4.2 Descriptions and explanations necessary to understand how the Services work

Portfolio management is the management of a client’s portfolio of financial instruments in accordance with the authorizations granted by the client to IAD, at the discretion of IAD, and IAD performs these activities on the basis of a portfolio management agreement.

Management of unit certificates issued by management companies and securities issued by foreign collective investment undertakings is the performance of legal acts necessary for the exercise and preservation of rights associated with unit certificates and securities issued by foreign collective investment undertakings. Management of a financial instrument is carried out on the basis of a securities management agreement. Custodial management is the management of a financial instrument in which the legal acts necessary for the exercise and preservation of rights associated with a financial instrument for the client as the owner of the financial instrument against third parties are performed by the IAD in its own name and on behalf of the client, such as in particular (a) receipt of a financial instrument in favor of the client’s account, (b) delivery of a financial instrument to the debit of the client’s account and (c) attribution of interest, dividends and other payments arising from holding a financial instrument to the client’s account.

We provide services to clients in person at our client center or through our contractual partners – financial intermediaries.

4.3 A description of how the Services meet established accessibility requirements for people with disabilities

  1. Physical accessibility
    Our client center is architecturally designed to be accessible to people with disabilities and so that everyone can move around and use the Services easily and without obstacles.
  2. Website iad.sk
    On the IAD website, compliance with accessibility requirements is ensured by a seamless display of high contrast mode, taken from the operating system settings or web browser settings. The website is fully functional and usable even if the font needs to be zoomed in (enlarged), whether through built-in browser functions, the operating system or a special browser add-on. A responsive main menu has also been implemented, which will be fully accessible and controllable only with the keyboard, without the use of a computer mouse.
  3. Documents related to the Services
    All documents related to the Services are designed to be understandable and accessible to persons with disabilities. The documents published on the website have logically arranged content and are properly labeled, and all objects in the documents contain alternative labels and are controllable only with the keyboard, without the use of a computer mouse.
  4. Assistance services
    When working with any document related to the Services, whether in paper form or in electronic form (in the case of documents published on the website), clients have the option to contact us for assistance via email, telephone or in person at the client center or their financial intermediary.

4.4 Disclosure of information

We provide information about the Services and their accessibility for people with disabilities in various formats, including online accessible documents and visual materials, telephone support, and in-person consultations.

Throughout the entire period of provision of the Services, we ensure that all accessibility information is up-to-date and available to all users.
