Land in Poland has been added to the portfolio
The First real estate fund (“PRF”) of IAD Investments, správ. spol., a.s. has expanded its portfolio by land intended for the construction of a logistics center with a leasable area of approx. 75,000 m2 near the Polish city of Wroclaw.
“The new acquisition of warehouses in Poland is intended for further construction of warehouses, in the planned construction of which we cooperate with a leading European logistics real estate developer. With this acquisition we respond to market developments, increase development and logistics in the fund’s portfolio stated by Mgr. Vladimír Bolek, Member of the Board of Directors of IAD Investments, správ. spol., a.s. responsible for managing real estate investments.
With its strategic location between Prague, Warsaw and Berlin, Wrocław is one of the busiest and most important logistics centers for major multinational companies such as Amazon, Mondelez, DHL and Orsay. At the same time, it is one of the most urbanized regions in Central Europe with a developed transport infrastructure, 24 universities and more than 140,000 students and a rich history.
The acquired land is located 10 minutes from the center, 15 minutes from the international airport and provides direct connections to international highways. The construction of the first logistics hall has already begun and the tenant will be the transport company DPD. After its completion, the logistics center will represent 70,000 m2 of warehouse space in modern smart halls and 5,000 m2 of office space.
